The reader
The readers are represented as keen musicians who are especially passionate about seeing live events and bands. This also shows that the reader likes going out and socialising with friends.

The artist is represented as a musician, there is a picture of her with a guitar on the cover and also in the other pictures throughout the magazine.
Lexi is presented as a good role model to people that are younger than her, expressing how important school is, and as she is in the spot light people will look up to her and therefore she is a good influence in this sense.
The reader is passionate about seeing live bands and events, this is shown firstly on the cover with cover lines such as ‘festival guide’ and ‘ your chance to win tickets to see the amazing band little Barrie Live’. Also on the contents page it shows that the magazine features a live section in every issue for keen gig watchers who want to know all the latest concerts.
Lexi Ray is 20 years old, and her article explains how she has found dealing with the music industry at such a young age. It may help aspiring young readers to understand what life is like for a young person like themselves entering that kind of world.

In the double page spread it shows that she is just releasing her new album and it has has been successful in the charts, so she is a fairly established artist, but hasn’t been around for a huge amount of time so it is hard to say how successful she is going to become.
Lexi Ray presents herself in the interview as a good role model for younger people because she explains how important it is to try your hardest at school, and even she says that if you want to pursue a music career you can do it after school, you don’t necessarily need to rush into it.
