How Did You Attract/Address Your Audience

  • The masthead has a black outline to grab the readers attention
  • The artist on the cover looks fashionable and confident which will then make the audience want to read more about her and find out who she is if they do not already know.
  • The sell lines grab the reader and makes them want to read more in order to find out about 'festival guides' ect.
  • A bar code follows magazine conventions.

  • I have used an editors letter to explain to the reader what to expect from this months magazine, it makes the reader feel excited to read what is coming up in the magazine.
  • Slanted picture to stop the page from becoming boring and everything being straight.
  • Contents list makes content easy to find specific pages in the magazine.

  • Columns break up the page to make it easier for the reader to read.
  • Interesting font for the title to grab the attention of the reader.
  • Photos show different aspects of the artist
  • Photos are arranged all over the page to break up the text and make it not so much like a block of uninteresting text.

  • An introduction of the article to make the reader want to carry on reading.
